LIMITED WARRANTY (US)
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
The limited warranty can also be found online at www.plumis.com/us_warranty or in the documentation we provide with the product.
We warrant that during the warranty period, the product will be free from defects in materials and the product workmanship. For the avoidance of doubt, this limited warranty does not cover or apply to workmanship of installers, including authorized installers, installing or servicing the product.
We limit the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty. Other than the limited warranty set forth herein, we make no other warranties, express or implied.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to repair or replacement as described below in this limited warranty statement. You assume all risk whatsoever as to the result of the use of the products purchased, whether used singularly or in combination with any other products or substances.
Who may use this limited warranty?
Plumis Ltd., a UK limited liability company, located at Unit 4, Phoenix Trading Estate, Bilton Rd, Perivale, UB6 7DZ UNITED KINGDOM (“Plumis” or “we”) extends this limited warranty only to the owner of the property, whereat the Product (as defined below) is installed (“you”).
What does this limited warranty cover?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the Automist, the advanced targeted fire suppression system (the “Product”), for the Warranty Period as defined below. For the avoidance of doubt, this limited warranty does not apply to workmanship of the installers, including Authorized Installers, installing the Product.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to:
(a) Transportation;
(b) Storage;
(c) Improper use, including but not limited to not following the Automist User Guide available at: ;
(d) In-situ abuse or damage to the system improper use;
(e) Failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance;
(f) Installation done by parties other than Authorized Installers;
(g) Authorized Installer’s error or malpractice, including installer’s error or malpractice;
(h) Faults arising from failure to service the Product in accordance with the Plumis’s instructions in the Design Installation Operation and Maintenance Manual;
(i) Modifications;
(j) Unauthorized repair done by any party other than an Authorized Installer (as defined herein);
(k) Damage not resulting from manufacturing defects that occur while the Product is in the customer’s possession;
(l) Normal wear and tear; or
(m) External causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control, and other instances of force majeure.
What is the period of coverage?
This limited warranty starts on the date the Product is installed, and lasts for two (2) years thereafter, provided that after installation, the Product is serviced annually as per the manufacturer’s requirements (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the Product. We may change the scope or availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
What are your remedies under this limited warranty?
With respect to any defective Product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, either: (a) repair or (b) replace such Product (or the defective part) free of charge.
How do you obtain warranty service?
To obtain warranty service, you must obtain an Installation Certificate from an installer authorized by Plumis (the “Authorized Installer”). The installation certificate issued by the Authorized Installer must include the installed address, the date of installation and the serial number of the Product.
Please note that the Product installed by parties other than Authorized Installers shall not be covered by this Limited Warranty.
Limitation of liability
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, reliance, statutory, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of use, loss of time, loss of revenues, inconvenience, loss business opportunities, damage to good will or reputation, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages or such damages could have been reasonably foreseen, in connection with, arising out of, or as a result of, the sale, delivery, servicing, use or loss of use of the products sold hereunder, or for any liability of buyer to any third party with respect thereto.
We make no representation or warranty of any kind as to the security and functionality of the product or that the product will prevent any personal injury or property loss, fire, or otherwise, or that the product will in all cases provide adequate protection. you understand that a properly installed and maintained product may only reduce the risk of fire, property damage or other events occurring without the product, but the product is not AN insurance or a guaranty that such will not occur or that there will be no personal injury or property loss as a result.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. if any provision of this limited warranty is held to be void or unenforceable, such provision will be deemed stricken or modified to the extent necessary to make it lawful, and all other provisions of this limited warranty shall remain in full force and effect.

We retain Personal Information that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about maintenance or our other services, and then we securely delete the information. We will delete this information from the servers at an earlier date if you so request, as described in Opting Out and Unsubscribing below. If you provide information to our partners as part of maintenance contracts, our customers decide how long to retain the personal information they collect from you.
3.12. Corporate Events
If we (or our assets) are acquired by another company, whether by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or otherwise, that company would receive all information gathered by Plumis on the Websites.

Plumis keeps track of the Websites and pages you visit within Plumis, in order to determine what portion of the Plumis Website is the most popular or most used. We may collect demographic information, such as your postcode, age, gender, preferences, interests and favourites using log files that are not associated with your name or other personally identifying information. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by us. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by Plumis to maintain quality, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Plumis Website. For these purposes, we do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number.
4.3. Navigational Information Collected by Our Customers
Our customers can use the tools we provide, as well as tools provided by third parties, to collect Navigational Information when you visit their webpages. Plumis does not control our customers’ use of these tools, nor do we control the information they collect or how they use it.
4.4. Third Party Tracking Technologies
The use of cookies and web beacons by any tracking utility company is not covered by our privacy statement. We do not have access or control over these third party tracking technologies
