The Architizer A+Product Awards celebrate the building products, materials and technologies helping shape the future of architecture and design. For Automist to be recognised across residential design, smart technology and innovation is a meaningful milestone for our team and our mission.

Automist was created to rethink residential fire protection for modern homes. Instead of relying on traditional sprinkler infrastructure, Automist uses targeted water mist technology to provide effective fire suppression while using dramatically less water than conventional sprinklers. Its compact, intelligent design makes it easier to integrate into homes where space, aesthetics and water infrastructure all matter.

This recognition highlights what we have always believed: fire protection does not need to feel like an afterthought. It can be thoughtfully designed, space-saving and better suited to the way homes are built, renovated and lived in today.

As housing needs evolve, from ADUs and compact homes to renovations, custom homes and multifamily projects, Automist offers a new way to think about code-compliant residential fire protection. It is designed to support safer homes without the cost, disruption and design compromises often associated with conventional fire sprinkler systems.
